Join Us for Our Reception Open Events at The Galfrid School!
Are you considering Reception for your child in 2025? We warmly invite you to visit our school and explore our engaging Reception environment at one of our upcoming open events:
You and your child are welcome to tour our carefully designed Reception classrooms, which support children’s learning through purposeful play, both indoors and outdoors. Our learning environments are built to develop skills in Communication, Physical Development, and Social & Emotional Growth, all aligned with the Early Years Curriculum.
During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Explore our classrooms and outdoor learning area, including Wildwood, our very own nature space where children enjoy activities like den building and nature hunting.
- Chat informally with our Reception Teacher and Head Teacher.
- Learn about the exciting activities, trips, and educational events we offer as part of our Education with Character program.
- Find out how we partner with parents through events like Stay & Play and share a story session.
We’re excited to show you how our welcoming school environment and engaging curriculum will help your child thrive in Reception!
